Ikatan Mahasiswa Teknik Industri (IMTI) is in the planning stage of an annual event named Lomba Keilmuan Teknik Industri (Industrial Engineering Science Competition). As a pioneer of Industrial Engineering Science competition in Indonesia (since 2001), this event brings together top Industrial Engineering students from all over Indonesia, high quality judges and unique challenges, which give you enormous opportunities to encourage education atmosphere while contributing in bringing in the latest innovation in Industrial system.
LKTI 2012 is a successor to LKTI 2011-IKM Empowerment, LKTI 2010-Disaster Management, LKTI 2009-Telecommunication and the past eight consecutive series of LKTI. As it is known to continuously improving theme and challenges, this year’s LKTI will presents “Green Manufacturing” as its main theme. Participants will be asked to develop manufacturing strategies based on lean system in order to create an environmentally friendly system of manufacturing.
Thence, LKTI is pursuing partnerships from governments, non-governmental institutions and other organizations which posses great concern towards green manufacturing system in Indonesia.
